Grosvenor Hall kitchen progress

Well progress is slow but there has been a little bit.  Have made the recess for the gas hob and cut out little tiles painted everything with a pale cream colour and added hardware.

and here is as far as I have got.

I need to paint the panels at the back of the sink and still have some work to do to the hob, put in some 'glass' behind the doors and work out where I want to put the lights to light up the cupboards.  Paint the worktops to look like granite, add taps so still plenty to achieve.
The last picture also shows the ruler so you can get an idea of how big it is and how big the room that it is going in.

French Chic

I love the shabby chic French style (amongst umpteen others!)  I see a lot of enthusiasts that follow this style and decided I just had to have a go.  Not everyone's choice I'll admit but in the right house/setting and with other like items it is very pretty and romantic.  These were extremely fiddly and took ages to do but I am pleased with the result.  I love the look of very subtle, subdued colouring and will be looking to make more miniatures on this theme.

Another one in pink and slightly different to the first one.

The little cushions I made from silk.

I will update my BIG kitchen project in the next day or so too.

Grosvenor House

Grosvenor House is quite a big house and its going to take a lot of 'filling'.

I love looking at the beautiful (very posh) kitchens on the web and found this picture and thought 0oh I would like that (real size - never mind dollhouse size) - well one can dream - so the next best thing would be to have one for my dollhouse.

This is the picture I found and the one that inspired me to make it.

and this is progress so far on my mini version.  Still lots to do but I will update new pictures as I do more to it.

Here are two variations of a kitchen that my dear friend, Monica sketched out.  The pink one is for her and I did the rustic oak one as an alternative.

They both have a 'gas hob' and a 'Neff' type oven and a fridge/larder cupboard.
